Hanging Rock.
Some schoolgirls completely vanished while having a picnic on the mountain in the early 1800's, leaving no clues.

icedragon
ive heard there is a town where everyone lives underground

Every town in Australia holds some sort of secret, mate! Just don't go digging it up. You might end up being one of them.

Adelaide....a what??

JazzyKat
if you really wanna know then you have to visit a town out in the middle of whoop whoop go the local watering hole, pull up a stump next to the old cobber with 1 eye and no choppers and buy him a pot of his local brew... I reckon you'll get a few good tall stories out of the codger then.

Sidney.

I hear they are hiding a huge opera house somewhere.

All towns have secrets that are generally poorly kept. But after a few years people lose interest in the old secrets and start new ones. Ask any policeman or even minister of religion.

"Picnic at Hanging Rock" was not set in the early 1800s but in the early 1900s and was fiction. People have actually investigated and there never was such an incident. But if you read the book it seems real.

Yes. Kogan queensland australia. It is near dalby, chinchilla and Tara. I lived there for a year and it only has 50 people in the town, with the town has many problems. In that time a man was shot, a women beaten up to she was uncontious, an old man being pushed down some steps breaking both his legs; a major drug bust, a fight in the local pub everynight.

Kogan looks peacful but most people there are boring drug attcis

Thanks
