Is there any major difference/advantage flying first class rather than business class?
Nothing major unless it's a long flight like overseas... Usually just means get your own bathroom for fewer people and free alcohol (not really worth it unless it's a long flight where sleeping will be an issue).

In my opinion there are not major differences. But is it worth the price difference? Without question. It is so nice to be able to have plenty of room in your seat, which is comfortable anyway. The service is better, the food is better, etc. It is just nicer all the way around. If you have to fly and can afford the upgrade, than I would do it. Trust me, you won't be dissapointed with the upgrade.
Hope this helps!

First Class is where travel becomes a pleasure. You are treated better than at the top restaurants and hotels. The confort level is great and you will never get a cranky host/hostess.

i don't think it matters is just to pay more money. One time i went to McAllen tx and my plane had very few people so i just went up to the front of the plane and sat down on the first class...i guess i got lucky, no one said nothing to me.

As an airline person, I would say absolutly. Fully reclining seat are a benifit. Name recognition is a plus. Check in at the first class checkin and not have to wait in the regular lines. Priority boarding. Amminity kits. Pride in sitting where few can...just to name a few
