Yes...my man isnt here...
No really there isnt much wrong here....we have our issues but they dont call it the lucky country for nothing....we have a pretty good standard of living and the people are very down to earth....Its a great place to live... |

Haha, I love it over here, and yeah... Not that I've been anywhere else, but I mean... Its good, yeah.
And people who say we're rude, well, they are then.. because I really dont think we are. |

It IS a great place to live. But we still get all the same issues that other countries do ... violence, racism, unemployment .... it's just not as bad. Overall, we are pretty lucky and we are so NOT rude people!!! |

We do live in the lucky country.
We're not perfect but who is.
We don't have hand guns and rifles in nearly every home.
We don't have school shootings on a regular basis.
We do have drought, floods and the occassional cyclone.
We do have murders and other crime.
We do have dangerous animals but so do many countries.
We have freedom and the chance to succeed in whatever we chose to work hard at.
We do live in a domocratic and peaceful land.
We have a diverse and beautiful country that we're all proud of. |

We have pretty bad drought in some areas, some pretty dangerous spiders and snakes, if you want to travel overseas, it is a bit more expensive than from Europe, North America etc but the price is worth paying! |

I think the only thing that I don't like about Australia is our news coverage. We seem to get allot of national news but not as much world news, we do get a fair bit, but i'd like to see some more.World news is just more interesting. Other than that, its great here and there's nothing wrong with it.

Here in the United States we like kangaroos because they are "cute".
It is my understanding that they are considered pests over there because they get to the farmers crops.
Other than that, I LOVED Australia. I visited once a while ago and the people treated me like a God!
On top of that, on my third day there I hit it off with a beautiful woman named Erin there. Dang she was 6 foot 1, I loved it!
Australia is a beautiful country with very nice people and I definitely want to go back! |

I think from what i have seen and read that Australia would be one of my favorite places to visit. They have a great climate in most areas winter and summer. I hope to go there some day. My father always wanted to go there. I can see why! Im from Canada and i think the warm weather would suit me fine! My neighbor was there and they loved it. Good luck. |

We still have issues with racism and over patriotism.
But that's just the old conservatives and their legions of sheep. Other than that, Australia is a pretty good catch.
PS- By sheep, I mean it metaphorically, not literally..( were not speaking of New Zealand..)

like NOTHING is wrong with australia :) i love it here. it is the 4th most wealthy country aout of the 175(something like that) and the 3 countries above us are igly contries that are only rich beacsue of oil. so in my opinion australia is the VERY BEST country to live in |

We Aussies would have to be one of the most friendliest countries in the world.We have travelled around the world a fair bit and i enjoyed it immensly but was glad to come home to the friendly country and great weather.
We are the lucky country and i would not live anywhere else.come on over and visit us and our wonderful country,you will not be disappointed. |

They have a horrible problem with drug/drink, sexual abuse in the indigenous popluation.
Plus the have bad droughts. They have mice swarms & locust too...
All of this i have heard from my old Boss who is Aussie. But as a whole Australia does sound like a good place to live.
