ok ok - joke aside, you are lucky, mate, that you found Melbourne "not super hot like they say on tv" because some year it IS super hot in summer.

It even snows in the south - yes - but only in winter.

Australia is a great place but for those who wants to come here - make sure you get some correct advice about our climate. Australia is a BIG country and it has a wide range of climates with very extremes conditions on either ends of the scale. It can be VERY HOT in some part while nice and cool in others.

Yes Australia is great and cool. I live in Adelaide and it's even better here. We of course don't get snow (unless it's really cold and then we get it on top of Mt Lofty. But I love it. I have lived here all my life and wouldn't swap it for all the tea in China

its nothing like how its shown in movies,
but it does get hot very hot!
and the winters are good not cold but nice, but the mornings are freezing in winter!!!
but gahh i hate summer there soo hot. :)

OMG!!!! Yes it's the best country in the world and i live in Melbourne as well. :D it truely is the best city and it's very beautiful during a nice clear night :D

It's pretty hot where I live (Brisbane).

i love melbourne, born and raised. But don't think it dosen't get hot. in summer when it gets hot it stays hot (except this year -summer this year was pretty sucky.)
When it's cold in melbourne it dosen't really snow in town, but the wind blows in off the Tasman and you con feel it in your bones.
Lots of great food though!! and coffee, oh the coffee!!!
