It was a great shock to wake up this morning and hear on the news that Steve Irwin had been killed by a stingray !!

It is a great shame and he will be very missed.

Yes, it is a shame. But his legacy lives on. I just feel sad for his wife and kids. What a young age to lose a father.

it is a big shame im just so shocked i mean the man goes out and wrestles crocs his entire life and then has to die when hesw doing something that is so giving and that it was just such an irregular way to go...

It's a shame for sure ... aguy like that comes once every blue moon .... and to be able and make it all the way to TV .... Hmmmm guess no one will be able to replace him .... I feel lucky that I lived during the lifetime of one of the greats .... at least now I can tell stories to my kids as well!!!

He was a Fair Dinkum True blue Aussie and he always gave everyone a fair go.
All of us will miss him, especially our children and the creatures he loved.
