Koalas or Wombats: Which is cooler?

Additional Details
I live in the USA and never saw a Wombat until I saw a Nature program on TV, Your right they are cool. It would be neat to have a Koala or a Wombat as a pet(if I had the land and Euclayptus trees)

wombats arn't vicious my wifes family used to have one for a pet but after a few years poor old woobby the wombat was given to a nature park and to date is the only animal to escape----RUN WOBBY RUN--he was given up because he used to dig big holes under the house and the foundations were at risk.he was cool as but koalas are cool too all nice animals.he was rescued from his mum after she was run over they had him for years.

Koalas are my favourite but both are native animals they live in the wild you can't keep them as pets.

I would love one of each!

They are both too cute .... But I get to see both as each week I go to our local zoo with my toddler, and we always give them a cuddle.

It cracks me up that everyone thinks Koalas, Roos, Wombats and all our wonderful Aussie fauna are so cute and cuddly. We live in the harshest continent in the world people! With the most poisonous and dangerous creatures in existence!! You think they are any different just coz they look cute?!! They can ALL kill you if they choose.. -You gotta be tough to make it down here and trust me, those little critters pack a wallop. Cute cuddly Koala one minute, vicious velociraptor the next! (Those claws hurt!) At night, the Koalas growl like bloody banshees!
But to answer the question, I like Wombats coz they have big bums!! lol.

The sad ting is you can't have either a koala or a wombat as a pet. They're both pretty endangered. Paris Hilton brought a monkey home and it was taken away. It's illegal. Koals spend most of their lives in the trees. they only come down when there's no leaves left, so once every 2 months, about. But I've seen one on the ground before. it was so cute. Wombats get pretty big, but they're very lazy too. If you want a pet, get a dog or a cat!! Hope I helped :)

Wombats have so much character and are so cute Koalas are as well but there is something about that little fat ,grumpy, anti-social animal that appeals to me.

Koalas are noisy and smelly, I prefer wombats - they have funny personalities.

I would have to say wombats. They are allot quieter than koalas. And koalas have diseases like chlamydiae. Soggy bottom koalas! And koalas scream and grunt when they mate, usually not far from my bedroom window. So go the wombat!

I like Koalas, but Wombats might be cooler in just a bad-*** kind of way.
