Great for promoting Australia to the Americans.. They should use it as the next tourism campaign, after all Americans will believe anything.

Sure they are real creatures but you have more chance of being hit by a car.

The American version would just show a heap of women driving 4wds, that's be enough to scare me off.

hah the last pic is funny

The video is funny and I love the attack koala, but seriously, I really, really wish that people in general and Aussies in particular would stop spreading the bullsh!t that this is a country full of dangerous creatures and that visitors will be in constant danger.

It must do our struggling tourism industry masses of harm and it's all so untrue. I've lived here for over 60 years in bush and city and have NEVER seen any of the creatures people from overseas expect to find all over the place. Well, I've seen the odd snake or two, but have never been in any danger from one. My tribe of kids roamed through the subtropical bush all through their childhoods and never even came close to having any problems with wildlife of any kind.

If you're a regular on here, you would know how many serious questions we get on the subject and it makes me as mad as a cut (harmless) snake that there are so many misconceptions out there. Even one of your answers today is from someone who says that's why they're wary of coming here. I find it really sad that so many people will miss out on the experience of a lifetime because of wildly exaggerated cr@p.
