'About Me' is about me

Live in Sydney ,Australia, and want to find a hobby/past time with art to meet new ppl...?

I'm kind of bored living in Sydney now, and I have the kind of friends who never go out to have a drink or clubbing and that is Australia's fav past-time! I love my friends, but do miss going out as a group to go clubbing and I would like to meet new ppl who are on my wavelength. So, I want to join a hobby club such as a long term drawing course or something like that. Anythin with art actually, any ideas? Please give me an address of some sort or I can't use it as a valid answer! Thanks!!

Hello. I know how you feel but i am in queensland but been to Sydney alot of times as i like it there. You can look in the phone book under arts and crafts and also hobbies as that will get you out into what you are looking for. Look around as some places only charge $2 a hour as it is just a get together and just learn how to do all different things. Hope this is a little help. Good luck.

You could try going to the Games workshop stores... It is a modelling (miniatures) gaming store.. Some people are painters and sculpters others only go there to play with their armies..

You will find one right behind the QVB, it is on their website.

222 Clarence St.
(or look up http://oz.games-workshop.com) there is a storefinder section to find one closer if you want..

Maybe try CAE - Centre for Adult Education, they often have art/pottery/drawing/book classes and groups ...
