Melbourne / Victoria What’s going on?

Ravaging fires, earthquakes, water restrictions, City Rail network in crisis, gangland killings, economic downturn, factory shut downs, dole queues lengthening, big wheel not turning. “Victoria the place to be?”, ah… I think not.

Re.redhzkingswood's comments, "Not much different to the other states" I like your optimism, but not reality: "Victoria leads jobs nosedive as crisis bites" (Melbourne Age 8th March 09). Your comment You've been watching Underbelly..." the program was based on the actual Gangland killings in Melbourne!

Not much different to the other states, one mild earthquake that didn't do any damage is nothing to worry about. Economic downturn, world wide so not much we can do about that.
Water restrictions and public transport?, I never thought I would say it but, Is there another Henry Bolte out there somewhere???????
Gangland killings? You've been watching Underbelly too much!
Big wheel not turning. Bad design by overseas "experts"
