Show all answers

holly
Without a doubt ACT Canberra

John M
a great place to live

nothing is boring unless you don't want to do anything at all

the most boring place would be ACT - PARLIAMENT HOUSE

rustupd

Most of NSW, it is the most highly taxed and over regulated state on earth. For the privilege of receiving a raping from the taxation department, and paying an levy on the excise on the tax (Tax on a tax on a tax), you get to pay $1.65 a litre for unleaded, drive on roads that a mountain goat would trip on, and consume incredably expensive meat and beer. Apart from that, the people are great and the scenery is awesome.

At first i thought. There is no boring state in Australia.
But then i remembered that small thing in the middle of NSW, a boring parliamentry place known as canberra or more commonly 'the hole'
I'm kidding, Canberra is the most boring, for sure but that's only because everywhere else is incredible.

(Even Victoria which is i was a little prejudiced against because when i went to melbourne everytime i told someone i was from sydney they gave me lectures on why Sydney is no where near as interesting as Melbourne. And for some peopel (not me, though) it genuinely is but i'm over it know because melbourne was (suprisingly for me) as good as sydney. almost. (for me)

A.C.T literally is known as "the hole", seriously if you see a hole in the ground, just a random one people do make jokes like,
'look, it's canberra!'
(that's probably due to the compolsury year 6 school trip every school (almost) takes down there in which all we did was learn about John Howard (he was still prime minister at the time)

I'm with rustpd on this one! All of our states offer different things to see and do. We have the rugged deserts, the best beaches in the world, some of the best wines in the world, some fabulous rain forests, beautiful cities, great historical sites (Though they are not as old as many other places in the world, they hold great historical value to us Aussies!).

WA and NT are probably the most boring to get from one place to another as WA is HUGE and you can travel long distances between places and NT coz there is lots of sand to look at out of the car window. But there is not one Australian state that I would not live in!

NB: Christmas island is not a state of Australia... ACT? I spent some time there a few years ago when I lived in Sydney and they have some great restaurants, Vineyards, Old parliament house is really interesting as is the war memorial/museum. AND it is the porn & frieworks capital of Australia!!!

I think the most boring state in Australia is northern territory's because its just desert with nothing else there.

Best Wishes
