i would go queensland for sure, youd have no problem with a visa as electricians are needed here, id move to a town thats not too big as cities are the same the world over. im sure youd love it although the change of pace might take awhile to get used to

Australia is a great choice of location. I'm sure you'll find a job over there and settle down. As for being close to the beach, no worries ; Australia is an island, there's plenty of land next to the coast(not sure about the cost though)
There's lots of rare endemic animals over there; so when u move try to be an eco citizen, do like most Australian do; LIVE IN HARMONY WITH NATURE !!!!!

you should move to mindarie in Perth. Here there is a great family orientated environment with lots of activities both outdoors and indoors. There are also good opportunities for electricians as well. The beach is gorgeous over in mindarie. I live in a big but relatively cheap house just a 5 minute walk to the beach, the harbor and the beautiful marina. The schools are great in the area too with sea views all year round :)
Here are some websites to look at!

Well Hello ♥
the northern suburbs of perth are very family orientated and friendly.
mindarie is a great place like the first answer said but maybe even try moving to Burns Beach, there are new homes going up and it is reallly close to the City of Joondalup. Joondalup is becoming a great community to live in , with lots of job oppurtunities and community based events. Western Australia is the place to be .

i think u should move to qld due there being the theme parks there

its cruel for kids to grow up without any theme parks

The Kitten in Clothes
I am Australian and grew up in Brisbane (which isn't on the beach so def dont move there).

Gold Coast is on the beach and is a bit glitzy if that is your thing and is an hour's drive from Brisbane.

Otherwise Caloundra and Maroochydore are nice areas - they are off the coast of QLD and not too high so it wont be too hot and there would be plenty of opportunities there for both work and for a young family.

Brisbane-heaps of work opportunities, and heaps of beaches within 1 hrs travel like the gold coast etc. And compared to Sydney food and accomodation is still reasonable.great weather to gets a bit colder south of Sydney towards Melbourne.

For the big surf beaches: Gold Coast or Sunshine coast.
For the small kids beaches: there are a few small beaches in the bayside area, nice and safe with no real waves.
There is also a 'beach' in the centre of Brisbane. http://www.visitsouthbank.com.au/

As an Electrician, be aware that you can only work as an employee at first, until you have passed more exams to be allowed to work as a contractor or be self employed.
