Moving to western Australia

Hi
I am moving to western Aus soon through skilled immigration. I am moving to the surrounding places of Perth ONLY for the next one year and move for permanent residence after that ( which means I can move to any part of Australia).
I need to find out what are the towns available close to Perth and living and lifestyle around. I need to be secure about my job as well with good schools, hospitals, and accomodation. I have been given a few post codes but this is of no help with no idea about Western Aus

Some of the places are listed as
Keysbrook
Hopeland
Mandella
Whitby
LOCATION: AVON VALLEY NATIONAL PARK, WA
2. LOCATION: BULLSBROOK, WA
3. LOCATION: CHITTERING, WA
4. LOCATION: LOWER CHITTERING, WA
5. LOCATION: WALYUNGA NATIONAL PARK, WA
LOCATION: BRETON BAY, WA
LOCATION: CARABAN, WA
GABBADAH, WA
LOCATION: WILBINGA, WA
LOCATION: WOODRIDGE, WA

How far is Mandurah from Perth

Thanks

Bullsbrook and Chittering are in the sticks. Forget moving there if you need to rely on public transport.
I think you might mean Woodbridge and thats near Midland.

Good and cheap areas are- Midland, Balga, Guildford, Maylands. Or Fremantle. Even Mandurah, because it is connected to Perth by a train line, and it takes about 30 odd minutes to get there by train.

Mandurah is one hour south of Perth. If your go further south there is the city of Bunbury which is two hours from Perth, then there is Busselton which is half an hour south of bunbury. If you go further south you get to Margaret River but living there is quite expensive and rentals are almost impossible to find. Good luck with everything.

Im from Western Australia but i haven't even heard of most of those places and i have travel a lot. All i can say is mandurah is nice and about 1 - 1 and half hours south, depending on the holiday season and trafic from perth.

good luck.

72.2km. That's about an hours drive.

The first 4 places you list are in the shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale but they are barely places. You would be lucky to find a shop, petrol station and pub there. If you had to live in that shire the best place would be Byford if you wanted to be closer to the shops etc

I live out that way and it is a very pleasant peaceful place to live but it is a bit of a hike to any sort of facilities.
