Well seeing as you are both males there will be no need for a divorce. |

Well if you live in brisbane it only costs like $60 one way for air travel so for awhile why not get him to fly down for work days. |

DON'T DIVORCE HIM!!! what stupid advice. Talk with your husband and try to figure out a compromise. I wish the best for you. |

he should have consulted you before hand....but what's keeping you in QLD? A little bit of change does the world of good sometimes....
As for that person saying catch the bus back in the arvo......do you understand that it is more than 12 hours to drive there!?!?!?!?! |

geez ...did he discuss this with you at all? Sounds like he values his job quite a lot or maybe you didn't make your feelings clear.
I think I'd give Sydney a try but don't fold up your life in Qld completely. Sydney's a pretty nice place to live ...lots of parks and water. If you don't like it you can make that ultimate decision later with a bit more information
Write yourself a pros and cons list ...what will you lose by leaving Qld? Make sure he understands your reservations ...he might not even realise that you're so torn |

I think you probably already know that it all comes down to the value you put on your relationship. If you want it to continue, you go to Sydney; if you stay in Qld., it means that you don't really value it unless you believe that it will survive with you living in separate states. It's up to you.
Of course, the situation is different if you have a great career in Qld. and would suffer badly career wise by moving. In that case, you must discuss with him who, if anyone, makes the career sacrifice. It still all comes down to the value you each place on the relationship.
Your avatar and name have me wondering too! |

Hang on.....!!!!!!!
Are you in a gay marriage!!????
Okay, then I suggest let him go and you stay where you are |

I hope your husband consulted you, and you reached this decision together. If you want your marriage to stay together, then give Sydney a go. Try to approach it as a new adventure. If Sydney makes you miserable, then neither one of you will be happy. I would give Sydney an earnest chance for the sake of your marriage though. |

A change is as good as a holiday. You can always move back if you don't like it.
Make the move, you'll love it here in no time. |
