Next holiday for single aussie woman. Ideas?

I love travelling, but I am not the wealthiest person in the world, so I always travel to Asia. Which I love, but I want to go somewhere different next year. I have been to Europe, but way way too expensive for my budget. Any ideas. For instance, Turkey is meant to be quite cheap. What do you think?

Okay... this is only because I LOVE it so much... Singapore.
I have travelled there (by myself) waaaaay too many times.
(Lived there for a time too.)

Singapore is safe, clean, friendly - the weather is always great (being on the Equator - more or less).

JetStar have cheap flights to Singapore - great flight over; horrendous flight times coming back. And there are so many places to stay; to suit anyone's budget.

I love the shopping there; I love the food there; I love the culture there. For around AU$1,500 - you could spend a week in 5-star luxury (including airfares). And providing you're not afraid of trying different cuisines, AU$50 is more than enough for breakfast, lunch, and dinner PLUS a couple of drinks. And the public transport system (especially the MRT) is brilliant.

I have wandered the streets of Singapore late at night, by myself, and have never once felt threatened. I'd recommend Singapore as a great holiday destination.

Travel Australia! I just got back from Darwin, loved it! Going to Perth next year as well.

Overseas options could be Tonga, Fiji, New Zealand, the list is endless!

You can come to Philippines and if you go tothe SM Mall of Asia there is a Korean restaurant,Chinese , Indonesian , Japanese, Thai ,Filipino and other Asian restaurant and if you want to stay in a white sand beach with lots of partying at night go to Boracay I think prices in Philippines is cheaper compared to other countries in Asia.Great shopping places.ASk other Aussis who have been to Philippines and
say it is one of the best palce to shop dine and enjoy white sand beach.
I have have been to Turkey but there beach is not white sand only the nice thing there are architectural ruins.

Turkey was cheap when I was there....... about 15 years ago..... Why not go trekking in Nepal, or to India? Or South America?

Eastern Europe in general is quite cheap. Particularly the more east you head. So maybe Ukraine or somewhere like that. Very appealing places to visit.

Alternatively, save on the airfares and head to New Zealand or even somewhere within Australia.
