Australia is fab, I drove around around oz well from cairns to Perth the coast road. It does have its downfalls, Example bloody mossies and sand flies, especially in Queensland. What every you do try not to scratch it makes it worse. And there are some parts of oz you have to keep waving your hand in front of your mouth cause of the flies. It sounds mad, but oz is a really good place otherwise. Australians are friendly, but like anywhere have your wits about you, especially if you are female. I would say have in mind to have a great time, but to great a time that you don't know what you are doing. Travel safe and enjoy.

It's a great place!! I live here and would not want to live anywhere else in the world. Better still, if you like warm weather it's spring now and the weather is around 25 C (77 degrees fahrenheit) and getting warmer.

Tom B mentioned stinging sea creatures. The are only in the far north east of Australia, which is also where the crocodiles are, so don't go swimming there. Everywhere else is perfect for swimming.

G'day mate, although I'm German I had been to OZ many times as I love this country "with the lots".
Had been visiting most tourist places. If you want to know anything about a special area just send me an email. Love to give you hints.

Australia is a beautiful country with friendly people (most of the time) but like other countries visitors must be cautious, particularly in tourist hot spots at night and have a common sense approach in a social sense.

No one particular state of Australia (in my opinion) is any more beautiful then the other as they all have their own particular charm although (and I am biased as it is my home) Sydney is the most beautiful city of them all.

There is so much to see in Australia that you would need a long visit to see it all.

This time of year is the best time to visit as we are just coming in to summer which can be very hot but with the many beaches and watering holes Australians manage to stay cool.

Why did you decide to come here for a holiday if you aren't sure?
I think Australia is good, we have a lot to offer and a lot to see.
In fact I think we're better than good but your holiday will be what you make it.

australia is wonderful, some places to go to are the whitsundays, fraser island, byron bay heaps of places and that is just the east coast! pretty much, start at cairns, then go to airlie beach do a 3d/2n or 2d/2n sailing trip then go down to fraser and there are alot of options for that place as well, really great fun!

Depends on where you are going. Australia is a big place and we have lots of different types of things that you can do and see. Maybe you need to be more specific. But yeah Aus is a great place to visit and live.
