My husband and I have gone to Montville for our last three anniversaries...we stayed at Montville Country cottages/cabins...in the honeymoon suite...I'm talking shaggy rug in front of the fireplace, massive kingsize bed...double spa and double shower and views to die for...best bit...sprinkler on roof to give you the sound of rain on the roof...sooooo romantic

We had lunch at the Stamford, Brisbane the other day,

They treated us really well, (a mini holiday)

The hotel overlooks the river and is close to everything - 5 Star too!

Stroll in the botanical gardens, take a river skip to southbank, check out the art galleries - musuem :) or you could just stay in.

Cabins up in the Gold Coast look really tempting and Montville is a favourite too.

Really envy that you have special time together! (kids make your days so busy.)

Best wishes for your hols:)

South Stradbroke island Couran Cove is beautiful but rather pricey Couran point is very nice and cheaper. I have stayed there at Couran Point and wandered around Couran Cove .
