Should I move to New Zealand?

Running away from your problems doesn't help. Perhaps a short holiday would do you some good, in which case NZ is lovely for a week or two week getaway.

Face up to your problems and move on, move house if you think problems will occur but don't move to a different country or state, it won't help.

EDIT- New Zealand won't be any warmer then Aus, if you want warmth move to QLD

I'm about to move to New Zealand myself. It is a beautiful country. However, their inflation rate is pretty bad and their dollar is very weak against ours. Think about that if you have debt to pay off in USD.

Otherwise, I'm worried that you think moving away is a solution to your problems. Taking a step back from things and going away somewhere exotic can be a very helpful way to make life better, or it can just prolong your habit of allowing things to get messed up.

If you have made mistakes here that you are responsible for, you should rectify them. It's very important that you ask others for forgiveness and...very importantly....forgive yourself.

Reflect on the events that lead up to your mistakes. Is it because you have low self esteem? If so, why do you have low self esteem? Did your parents emotionally abuse you? There is plenty of great help out there for problems like these. And EVERYONE has problems like these from time to time. If you don't address the root of the issues you have, then you can move to the moon and you will still be stuck with your same miserable self.

I had very abusive parents and low self esteem for a while which is why I mentioned these things. I did many embarrassing things for many years, like date jerks, get drunk and act obnoxious, take poor care of myself, and I avoided committing to the things I loved. Then I matured and I realized that life is what I make it. And I wanted a good life. So I read some books on emotional abuse, got a counselor, stopped dating jerks, and made better friends. Life is much better!

I'm still moving to New Zealand though. Not because I want to escape, but because I want to explore. At any given moment we can be running, exploring, or just wandering. I think Tolkien said, "Not all who wander are lost" or something like that.

The world is a beautiful place and you are a beautiful person. Go on an adventure if you like! Be optimistic, but have realistic expectations too. And don't give up! On you or anybody!

JOKING! NZ is a very laid back country with lots of opportunities. Move to a big city like Auckland, lots to do, great people to meet and loads of work.

Your alive so you cant have messed up that badly! Have a great day sunshine!

I think if you have really researched this move its a good idea. But think about money, living, and a job. Also education if you are still in school.

you only have ONE life to live, and yu should live it to the FULLEST, so definitely, go to new zealand, its an opportunity that does not come by every day.

Email this guy, He works for a youth ministry team for people 18 and over, its a chance to go to new zealand with a youth group, and live there and be on a team...
