NOOOOO!!!!!! go away..

What if our accents got mixed up? I dont want a fush and chups accent..

Australia and NZ is a completely different country with different culture.. Lets keep it that way..

You're not Australian, I can tell.

Oh my god NO. Australia and New Zealand are definitely 2 separate countries. No two ways about it. We have enough kiwis over here in Oz as it is. If they made it one country they would all come over and then we Aussies would have to go there to get away from them. And then it would start all over again. You know, "the grass is always greener"!!! Hahaha

I'm Australian, and whilst we all like to have our little digs at our kiwi neighbours, I respect the country as it is. An amalgamation would be an insult to the achievements that the small NZ has made on the world stage. eg, when is Australia going to declare itself a nuclear free zone, as NZ did a decade ago?

They were invited to join the 1901 Federation, but chose not to.

They did however request the following:
"The New Zealand requests for amendments (notably that door should be left open to come in later on 'original States terms if she got round to seeing virtue (or advantage) in joining)."
