All I can say is welcome to the lucky country. This place is beautiful and most people are friendly. I am a proud 6th generation Aussie myself and would never want to live anywhere else. Where abouts in this wide brown land are you moving too? Being from Western Australia I am obviously biased as to my state. This is the most diverse and wonderous place. you will not be disappointed in the move to the great southern land.
we are friendly, happy go lucky, laidback people with a broad sense of humour, we love our barbeques with a good cold beer or two, we have gorgeous beaches all round this great land, we have many attractions all over, we love enjoying the sun, surf and sea. and most of us love driving holdens. we like to wear thongs (on the feet - not the ones up your @ss), there is plenty of wildlife that arrive daily in my back yard (anyways) - so c'mon down and have a good time! |

Good on ya we will make sure you are made welcome a few things though:
First you have to learn to eat a pie with one hand the other one is for beer while screaming for your footy team
You will have to learn how to be so laid back you might nod of to sleep,
Bring lots of sunscreen and do the Aussie wave to keep away flies
Also we like to have a lend of people that's means have a laugh at yourself and with us.
So I hope you love it as much as I do you made a great choice especially if you have kids. |
