Most airlines from London stop over in either Bangkok or Singapore.
A lot of people like Singapore but Bangkok seem to be more popular destination. Great shopping and culturally more exotic than Singapore. |

We stopped over in Singapore and it was just amazing but as its your honeymoon why not somewhere like Fiji how romantic would that be to start your honeymoon off, all the very best and have a wonderful wedding day and honeymoon. |

Hi - we've done stopovers twice to Australia. Although we did them on the way back rather than there! I just wanted to get there and then on the way home have something good to break the tedium of a horrifically long flight.
First time we flew JAL and stopped in Tokyo. I wouldn't recommend JAL but Tokyo was awesome and a real eye opener but perhaps a little too mad for you?
The second time we flew Quantas and stopped in Singapore. I would recommend it highly. There is everything you want, you can relax, shop, sightsee, eat and walkround the huge gardens they have there. It's very humid and takes a little getting used to but it's a brilliant place.
I can't comment on Dubai but a friend of mine goes a couple of times a year and loves it - on the plus side it's only a 7 hour flight rather than 12.....
Bangkok is a fantastic place as well, again can be chaotic but it has a great charm. All the hotels we looked at were dirt cheap and the one we settled on was about £17 a night and it was like a 5 star hotel, with a swimming pool, amazing room and great views. If you do stopover in Bangkok you HAVE to go on a trip to the floating market, it is absolute chaos but something I will never forget! Buying fresh mango from a little old lady in a canoe then eating freshly fried banana cooked in a canoe as well.....
Wherever you stop over I don't think that you can go wrong. You are on your honeymoon (congrats!) and it will be an experience that you will never forget. |

Singapore,Raffles Hotel,Very romantic, very nostalgic and spotlessly clean.Do'nt go if you are smokers though! Alternatively if hubby has a fat wallet you could stop over in Dubai!very opulant but expensive, gold to die for! Wherever you decide, congratulations and have a lovely time. |

Singapore, Dubai, Hong Kong and Bangkok are your best options.
I would suggest Dubai for good beaches and shopping, Hong Kong for great sightseeing and loads of shopping, Singapore for shopping and, well.. I don't really recommend Bangkok...
I would say fly Emirates and go for a Dubai stopover. Emirates have very attractive 5 star hotel rates if you are doing a stopover. |

or for something different there are a few airlines (Luthstansa for example) that fly in the opposite direction and you can stop over in Los Angeles or San Diego. |
