Tell me about Quantas Airlines...?

I am flying with Quantas Airlines to Brisbane, Australia, in the following week, and I am wondering about the details of the flight.
How is the leg room for economy seats?
Do you get a "gift pack" with flight goodies ie. toothpaste, eye covers, etc.?
How is the service/ flight attendants?
Are there movies played?
Do you get a personal screen in the headreat in front of you?
Just things I was wondering. If you have anything else to add. I would really appreciate it!!!

Thanks in advance!
Additional Details
Wow guys. Sorry about the misspelling. Forgive me, seeing as I'm not an airlines expert and only 15 years old....

Thanks for the input.

Hi I have flown from LA to Melbourne Australia on Qantas several times.

I will give you the lowdown as best I can.

Flight attendants : Very punctual, eager to please, always checking up on guests. Come around often to ask is you want water or tea.

Leg room: Pretty roomy and the seats go back far enough to get comfortable.

Gift pack: Huge! Granola bars, Oreo's, gum, mint, crakers, pretzels, trail mix, water, eye mask, socks, toothbrush, and toothpaste.

Service: Very friendly. I think they feed you a bit too much, but maybe it's just me. They give you a big English breakfast (eggs, sausage, grilled tomatoes, english muffins), satauted, mushrooms, cheese, jam, fruit, and coffee. Lunch is meat, potatoes, veggies, salad, bread, fruit, dessert, cheese, crackers, and drink. Dinner, more meat (curried, broiled, or grilled) veggies, potatoes or rice, salad, fruit, bread, dessert, and drink. Then they come around about an hour later and give you a Magnum ice cream bar. Then the goodie bag and tea. I am full just thinking about it LOL!

Movies (personal screens on the back of headrest in front of you): They are pretty modern and some are still in theaters. You have quit a few to choose from. You can program radio playlist from a pretty big selection. There are games like cards, casino, trivia, and memory on screne. They have television to choose from like fashion, travel, comedy (which plays some pretty stereotypical American programs like Friends and the Fresh Prince) LOL!

SIGN UP FOR FREQUENT FLYER MILES WITH QANTAS! They go pretty far and you can get comps in hotels if you get enough! I like Qantas, I am flying back to Melbourne in January with them again!

First you need to learn how to spell the airline correctly -
it's Qantas...not Quantas...

down_under_lover_forever2006
You didn't tell us from whereabout you will come. If you're from overseas you will have all the things you asked for. If you're on a domestic flight you will rather not. Then you will get food and drinks, watch a movie but that's it.
But all in all, Qantas are a great airline.
I used them from Germany to Oz and back as well as on domestic flights.

In the 747-400 planes (thats from US to Australia) you will have a tv in front. When you disembark, you will face Aussie customs. ALWAYS tell the truth. Lieing will get you into so much hot water that you will be running acrros water. In other words. Lieing to customs and smuggling objects in will attract a fine and jail+deportation.

Dont risk it. Enjoy Brisbane and make sure that you come up to the Sunshine Coast where I live. Thats where Australia Zoo is. Thats the Zoo that Steve Irwin owned. Only a 45 minitue drive north from Brisbane

And with the Spelling mistake, dont worry, all americans get it wrong. even tell your friends its Q A N T A S. Then they will not make that fatal erorr!

Qantas are a good airline - I've flown London-Sydney a couple of times with them. The legroom is cramped but as long as you get an aisle seat you will be okay. Each seat has its own monitor with movies, tv, games, etc... The food and beverages are good. The giftback has socks, eye masks, tooth paste / brush.

And yes, QANTAS is an acronym so there is no "U".

Good choice! I always love flying long distance with Qantas. Yep, you'll get the "gift pack" you're talking about and there should be enough leg room. Come to the airport early so you can pick a good seat. Personally I like sitting near the emergency exit because that area is usually spacious... although you won't have a seat pocket in front of you.

I flied Qantas Adelaide-Darwin (4 hrs) and I didn't have a personal screen, but they played good movies on the shared screen. The flight attendants are very nice--I used to travel Qantas as a minor and remembered them being very attentive. The food... hmm it's livable, but then Australia's got no kitchen anyway. Their in-flight entertainment is good, but maybe I'm biased because I love Australian music. But honestly, Australia's got great music, listen to Triple J radio to explore it (your friends in Brisbane should know it)

Bon voyage

Hi, you do get a small gift pack that include all the things you said plus navy blue socks.

Because you are traveling from the US you do gets seats with a TV screen in the head rest, there are in flight games to play as well as the latest movies to watch.

Most of the flight attendants you will fine have been flying for 20 years or more because its a very popular sector to work on, they bid for flights and they get it according to there seniority.

Where loose comfortable clothes sometimes your tummy can bloat because of the altitude, The cabin is usually pressured around 5000ft.

Take a few snacks of your own on board to eat during the flight and something to read. They have an in flight duty free shop that's comes though, I recommend you don't buy anything, "it a rip off"

While you in Queensland you are shore to go to Dreamworld
There is a roller coaster ride called "Cyclone" the best place to sit is the last row. http://www.dreamworld.com.au/content/standard3.asp?name=Big5Cyclone
The Tower of Terror sit in the first row.

If you go to Movieworld you must go on the Lethal Weapon, the best place to sit is the front row, even if it means missing a couple of turns to get to sit there.

Have a great time while your here down under.

Well, I've done the very thing myself. The first bit of advice is to get in travel mode cause its a long, long, long, long, long, flight. Since you're flying economy it will seem even longer. The key to these long flights is take it as it comes be be very, very patience with everything and don't take things too seriously. Anyway. Yes you'll get gift packs, if they updated their seats you will have vid on demand right in front of you and will be able to choose what you want. Food is so, so unless your flying business or first class.

BTW - you did get your VISA taken care of yes? And its a bit expensive there even with the exhange. Oh, also just north of brisbane is Kolao Town its cool go visit. (and yes i know I misspelled Kolao)

Qantas seat pitch (basically leg room) is 31" - one of the smallest in the world. Apart from that, I think they are OK.
