Saying the that all the websites mention is coral means you are not understanding what you're reading - if you're actually reading it.

The Great Barrier Reef is composed of coral - a living, breathing organism. Coral is an animal, so the reef is actually alive. And this is the important point to make in your project. From there you can go on to list the fish that inhabit the reef, and perhaps even discuss how global warming, crown of thorns star-fish, and pollution and affecting the reef and it's fish life.

All this information is available on the websites you've found, and those others have mentioned. Just take your time and sort through it. It's called research and that's just what projects such as this aim to teach you.

There is a list of Protected Species for the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, these species include:

Some shells - helmet shells, triton shells, tridacnid clams
Some fish - seahorses, pipefish, sea dragons, potato cod, Queensland grouper, barramundi cod, Maori wrasse, all groupers (Epinephelus) more than 100cm

Some sharks - whale shark, grey nurse shark, great white shark, freshwater and green sawfish

Sea snakes
Crocodiles
Marine turtles
Birds
Seals
Whales and Dolphins
Dugongs.

"stuff about coral"? well? isn't that what the Great Barrier REEF is made up of?

Really, you need to do your own homework. Us Aussies like to help but we don't help people who are too lazy in their study to "cheat " and get others to do it for them.

Anyway..."a list of the main plants and Animals that live on the great barrier reef "? - LOL You REALLY have no idea how big the GBR is , do you? "make the list simple and to the point"? LOL DO you have at least 100 pages to fill?
Try.. "Fish" for a start.

Home to the Great White Shark - they apparently move around a bit but there are supposed to be a lot of them there.

All you need to do is type."Great Barrier Reef "in the search bar and hit go. There are many articles there with exactly that info. Someone else should not have to copy the info and give it to you...just type in the phrase and read the answers.

I agree with charlie. This question has a thousand answers. Google-ing is the way to go. You shoud do your homework by yourself and before the due date.
