Monkey Mia, Western Australia.
the soil is red the water chrystal clear and the sky blue.the sunsets are magnificent and the best bit is wild dolphins come into shore and there is a lot of wild life, and other interesting things to see there like: 1 Shelly beach, a beach made up entirely out of small white shells, the even have a shell quarry there as they used to make some of the buildings out of shell bricks.
2 stromatolites ( worlds oldest living things
3 dugongs
Coffs Harbour in New South Wales is also really beautiful.there is rain forest hinterland, amazing beaches and a lot of things to do like: white water rafting and para sailing.
I love every part of Australia it constantly amazes me what beautiful scenery we have so anywhere you end up you will hopefully enjoy. |

Western Australia is amazing. Just a few great places to visit are:
Margaret River - gorgeous southern wine region
Perth - beautiful city
Monkey Mia - dolphins in the shallow water of the pristine beaches
Exmouth - Ningaloo Reef the worlds largest fringe reef. You can walk out to the reef in some spots..no need for a boat....whale sharks visit every year.
Karajini National Park - Stunning gorges
Broome - Simply beautiful pearling town
The Kimberley region with its gorges and tropical wonders.
There are heaps more but too many to list....plus the rest of the States all have there beautiful places to visit.

Hello, I'm american and I was in Australia for 3 weeks and I gotta say, you are going to love it. Personally, there are alot of places I like. Since I went in the winter, Sydney was pretty cold but it is a great city with alot to do. Sydney is clean, has NO HOMELESS people, and the people there are nice. You can walk on top of the Harbour Bridge, go out to all the shops, go on boats on the water, and much more.
I also love Cairns, it is in the north. It is beautiful and tropical. It has the most beautiful beaches in the world and there is alot to do. You can go to the Great Barrier Reef over there and it is just wonderful. I hope this helps |

You will have to visit Coffs Harbour in New South Wales as it is one of the nicest places in the country. The weather is great, particularly this time of year. We have one of the best climates in the world. The beaches are grand and there's lots to do. Hope you have a good time in Australia as it is a nice place. |

Sept 1st is the first day of spring in Australia, you will be getting there before most of the heat. December is the first day of summer. While the northern part of Australia is rather warm even in winter, I would suggest you see that part first and then the southern part later in your stay. I liked seeing the Great Barrier Reef. I flew into Cairnes (pronounced cans) for my trip there. I took the train up to the Rain forest, took the sky train over the forest to the Abrigional Village at the end of the ride. There are lovely sights on both train rides. I had lunch at the village and arttended the lectures they had. They showed us how to throw a spear and the proper way to throw a boomerang. Oh, watch out it can come back and hit you lol. Then from Cairnes I took the bus to Port Douglas (a very beautiful seaport) for my trip to the Reef. I took the catamaran. There is a special dock was there for our boat. We were able to eat a nice meal there. You could snorkel, SCUBA or go down in a diving bell to see all of the wonderful fish that are in just a part of the reef. Helicopter rides are also available.
After that I flew into Sydney for a few days, enjoy the tours available to see this beautiful and interesting city. From there I flew to Ayres to see the world famous Ulara ( the abrigional name for Ayres Rock) I stayed in the Sails of the Desert. Our tour bus took us to several places before we ended up at the "ROCK" just about sunset for a snack and some wine. The colors change as does Ulara at thet time of the night. The pictures you take and see will remain part of your memory for the rest of your life. The next morning you go back for more pictures and memories. From there we went to Alice Springs, I remember reading about this city since I was a child. It has grown a lot since I was a child. They love to tell you about their boat races and the year it had to be cancelled. You see, it rained that year and there was water in the river. For the racing they chop out the bottom of the boat. You pick it up and run with it, sort like Fred Flintstone when he drove his car. There is so much to see, with so much to do. All I will tell you is, the people are wonderful. the land is BIG with lots to see and do. Enjoy your trip, take lots of pictures. open your heart and mind, keep the memories in your heart and mind for the rest of your life. I have so far. |
