It should be mild and snow is not a concern. You will have a great time that is for sure! There is a website I ran across that has a free e-book that has info. on weather and many other aspects of the Gold Coast at www.LetsGotoAustralia.com. www.australia.com is good also.
See you here!

After living in Queensland all my life I can tell you that the chances of snow in June on the Gold Coast are very, very slim. it doesnt really get cold, a little chilly in the mornings and evening, but you can still swim at the beach...
I wouldnt suggest that you pack for winter, more like summer with a few light sweaters, a pair of jeans...

I lived for two winters in Sydney which is way further South than the Gold Coast. The coldest winter overnight temp was 40 F.
I'd pack a couple of sweaters and a light jacket.

Winter in the gold coast is definitely mild...I'don't think it ever HAS snowed there. To give you an idea most people in the winter get by with jeans/skirt and a shirt, perhaps a jumper at times.

It is extremely mild, trust me, it wont snow!
It really is like the eternal summer.Yeah ok you might get the odd day where you need long sleeves because of the cool sea breeze, and a pair of jeans. But you should be comfortable, unless of course you're travelling from the tropics!
Dont forget to see the Q1, its awesome.
