What's it like living in Australia?

How are the people? I don't really know too much, but it sounds lovely.

Dude, it's the same as any country.

In the city it is standard, business and people busy, doing their jobs. In the country it is quiet. Here is where the differences between Australia and different countries are: The nature

Besides that I woudln't say the people are too different. Besides a bit of culture, Australia isn't that multicultural, other countries are also very multicultural however I would definetly suggesting visiting the Australian outback and natural life such as beaches, Ularu, Blue Mountains and seeing some of the native animals. =)

Staying permanently, I would reccomend only if your a bit old, if you're young there's not much things to do here compared to other countries.

It is great mate! I migrated down here from the USA 36 years ago and it was the best move I ever made.

It depends what country you're from. I can say it's the closest to living in the U.S. without all the problems!

Better than a lot of places in the world. The people are the same as anywhere else, lots are friendly, once in a while you meet someone who isn't. Good if you like sunshine. Long distances to drive if you travel around. The middle is pretty well desert.

australia is the luckiest country in the world, in you country the young are celebrated and the old are supported

i am 20, i am as healthy as i could be, i am wealthy and i credit it all to my country

there is nothing we cant have in australia, heck the government even gives us $21000 when we decide to buy our first home

we have the best climate and surroundings, i know i speak for the majority

jstnfox
Its great if you live in Victoria, Australia but if you live anywhere else it sucks.

Josh is posh
dont listen to jstfox there are very few people like him in oz so dont worry its a beutiful place all round
