The place lacks proper culture ...unless you call beer drinking and watching footies culture. There are however lot of postives about Australia but you didn't ask for that.
People coming from other countries love it in Australia but those coming from India start missing India after a little while. |

It's the best country in the world to live in, but it's a REALLY long way from the rest of the world.
Also, our tiny population and large land area means that it's very difficult to have the same level of infrastructure away from the main cities as can be found in more populated (USA) or smaller (UK etc) countries.
Believe me, the benefits of living here far outweigh the disadvantages. |

negative things about Australia:
- Australians :p
more seriously:
- the heat in the summer sucks
- more laid back and less densely populated can make it less interesting sometimes
- If u want to see the world/travel it's too out of the way. The cost (and time) of a plane ticket from one side of Europe to the the other would barely get u out of the country. |

My god, if you people all hate it so much, then why do you stay here. You're more then welcome to leave.
I love my country, I don't think there is a better place in the world, I would never live anywhere else.
The only negative thing in my opinion is the distance between other countries for holidays and travel. But at the same time it has its advantages and after all I am still amazed how within 24 hours you can be on the other side of the world. |
