I'd say the really good ones though would be the didgeridoos, boomerangs, opals...anything aboriginal. Then there's always the classic, flags, shot glasses, stuffed toys etc. Hope this helps you and your client.

Yep, the kangaroo scrotums are an excellent gift! I work all over the world & always give them to my workers. Always gets a laugh!

Whatever you do, don't buy those crappy painted plywood boomerangs, or hats with dangly corks. Most digereedoos sold in tourist shops are rip-offs too. $200 for a hollow tree branch? Get real!!!

Don't know a website, but for the tourist to Australia that has everything, go to the Bundeburg area and get a stuffed cane toad with a shot of Bundie rum under its arm. Cute, great conversation piece, and truely Aussie...

Aside for that, there are the things that others have mentioned. If you know clothing sizes you could get RM Williams, Fletcher Jones or Rivers clothes, Akubra hats (without the silly corks), Blundstone boots, quality wines from Margaret River, Barossa Valley or Hunter Valley. Opals and sapphires, Paspaley pearls,
Young Maid cherry products, from Young, NSW and Walsh's pickles and condiments from Boorowa NSW.

A lot of the foods like lillipilli and bush lemon chutney may use Australian products but are not things that Australians actually eat and are only found in tourist traps.

Any replicas of kangaroos or koala, maybe a map of Aust.
All the airports have Aust gift products and souvenirs, a website is no good, you have to be in a shop to pick up what you want.
Who ever heard of getting a souvenir from a website! Really!!!

I'd have to agree with the tamboteddies - they are so cute and all dressed in Australian gear with the swag and drizabone.
Some other ideas are:
=Aboriginal art such as a bora thingy - it is an oval flat wooden thing that the aborigines have on a string and swing around and around to make a really weird sound.
=Aboriginal dot paintings
=Sheepskin rug or ugg boots
=Australian opal
