I have been 3 times, the last time last year. I have travelled all over and i love it.
It has a bit of everything, even urban squalor, but only a tiny bit of that around Auckland. It is a great place to visit. Very friendly and genuine, I find the people to be the nicest if you can generalise about any place - I have travelled a lot. It is really beautiful - my favourite is the S.Island it is like the best of Ireland and Scotland, and there is a lot of volcanic activity inn the north. Also some amazing caves and mountains. And yes, Rings was filmed there - I went in a helicopter to one of the sites.
I really want emigrate, it is kind of cut off, but it near enough to Oz for a quick trip to a bigger more connected country, but if you are just going for a holiday then I think that you will love it. |

Had an instructor who'd been there several times. This man was a pacifist, and had nothing but nice things to say about the place.

It is a beautiful country to visit and enjoy. But the only thing is that you should plan porperly before starting your trip. I think you should include Willington in the list of cities you would visit. |
