also because you are 17 and moving to australia. You may have to do you lisense here. & for Learners no vehicle that has turbo, or more than 6 cylinders can be driven. Until full lisense. - New laws.
Of course all the cars usually have their bonnets or wings done. Neon to Surround system inside. We have shops like Auto Barn & super cheap that are car shops. Have gear nobs to steering wheels to exahausts. So the whole thing under one roof. but You dont need to have a show car, Once you come to aussie, Go around and have a look at prices because some people will try and rip you off. Try sell you a car that is worth 12 000 and try sell it for 18 000. We have a whole range of cars - There are also your toyota, audi, chrystler all different ones.
God bless x |

The Australia brands are Ford and Holden, there is a strong rivalry between brands, you either favour one or the other.
We also have Toyota, Mitsubishi, Mazda, Hyundai, Sabb, Mercedez, BMW, Audi, Nissan, Honda, Volkswagen, Subaru etc..
They all have websites if you want to look them up... |

Hey John,
You'll like Australia. Everyone is a lot more chilled out than in the UK and there is a lot more space. I am an Australian living in the UK at the moment but planning on heading back to Oz soon.
We have similar cars to you guys. Although sometimes they have different names. For example Vauxhall in Australia are called Holdens. But we also have Fords, Toyotas, Hondas etc etc.
There are a lot more cars from Japan and China in Oz since we are closer than them than to Europe.
Anyway good luck with the move. I know you'll love it over there.
Cheers |

Overpriced crappy ones, there are import tariffs set up to protect the local manufacturers Ford and Holden. So the result is that cars tend to be older and lower end models compared to those available in the UK or NZ. |

Mainly Asian cars. You'll see a lot of "utes" (utility vehicles, which are basically V8 trucks), but they're more widespread where the roads are bad. |
