Launceston or Hobart.

Cost Of Living

Sydney>Darwin>Melbourne>Brisbane>Perth...

Melbourne or Brisbane. I prefer these because of the tourist attractions and as they are mediocre in cost of living.

Sydney. Far more job opportunities then Brisbane. I personally like Sydney over Melbourne... It is always so overcast and depressing down there... Apart from their extreme hot weather lately, but generally speaking.

I think the cost of living would be cheaper in Brisbane, but like I said Sydney has far more job opportunities. Sydney also has a great nightlife, Cockle Bay is awesome - Home Night Club :)

don't go to Sydney, it's an amazing place but real estate there is insane. Brisbane is more affordable but still expensive.

Considering your only 18 and planning on becoming a hairdresser maybe moving away from home just yet isn't the best idea. But if your going to go through with it Sydney would be the best choice, plenty of opportunities and plenty of clubs and things for over 18s.

BRISBANE QUEENSLAND AUSTRALIA!

Brisbane is the capital of the state of Queensland which is known as the sunshine state.
Queensland has a bit of everything.
-The shopping is really good with a lot of major shopping centres.
-In Brisbane alone there is many activities such as pools, lagoons, ice rinks, roller blading, laser shooting games, libraries, museums etc.
-The Brisbane transport system is very reliable with either bus, train or ferry service from almost any location.
-Less than 2 hour drive from beautiful beaches

(Some are good for swimming, while others have great surfing)
-Less than 2 hour drive from themeparks such as Dreamworld, Sea World, WetnWild, Movie World which are some of the most popular themeparks in Australia.

and overall ITS AN AMAZING PLACE TO BE! So many people are moving from Sydney as Brisbane is a warmer more outdoorsey climate. Most people in Brisbane spend most of their time outside since of our beautiful climate.
