We don't have a Hollywood but movies are generally made in Sydney or Melbourne anywhere really that suits the theme. |

Melbourne (film Victoria) and South Australia are the leader in film making in Australia. Sydney would be if the state Government didn't tax the crap out of them and have silly fees for everything. |

Sydney is the glitter city of Australia. |

Obviously the Gold Coast, and not just because Paris Hilton likes to get her fake tan done at Dark Star Tanning when she is in Australia. |

Recently Nicholas Cage, Stephen Spielberg and Tom Hanks have been around Melbourne filming. |

I'd say Sydney. I live in the Eastern Suburbs, just down from Bondi Beach, and everyone who is famous comes here. They go to Bondi and it's all over the tabloids. Recently, Kate Bosworth was here and ate at the restaurant where I had my first date with my fiance. I see famous people, Australian and US, practically on a daily basis. I saw Toni Collete at the grocery store the other day and didn't even know it was her. |

If you mean a place where people ostentatiously show off their wealth, it's Sydney.
If you're asking about where movies are made, then there's the studios at Movie World in Queensland but recently, some films have been shot in Melbourne including Ghost Rider. |

Nope, there isn't one. All our actors who want to make it big, travel over to USA, they don't hang around here. |

Most movies are shot on the Northern New South Wales Coast or the Gold Coast in Queensland if they're in Australia. |
