Red Ochres - it reminds me of the red desert sands of central Australia, and conjures up memories of Uluru (Ayres rock) and wonderful sunsets. |

Blue- amazing huge big skies, dark blue winter, bleached almost white summer, angry livid bruise summer storm blue, sea- beautiful and dangerous, deadly different shade of blue for every mood and condition. Eureka stockade flag.
Brown(the enemy of green)-huge expanses of every shade of brown ever, from light tan sand to iron rich bull dust. Brown trees, alive and dead. Lots of dead grass and trees, dead, dried, dehydrated, parched brown dead things. Beer. Dead cows on cracked baked brown clay
White-hot, hot sun baking down, blinding white light, silicone sand beaches, footpaths almost glowing white hot melting your thongs (feet thongs, not the US version of thong, ouch)ice cream, seagulls&cockatoos.
Green- it will never stop amazing me that a place that has been literally without a drop of rain for year after year after year, with nothing so much as a blade of grass seemingly alive as far as you can see, burst into amazing and defiant life and colour overnight with the slightest encouragement and a few drops of water from the sky. Cricket pitches. Blonde hair+swimming pools, not the best look. VB. Clean the pool! Hundred dollar notes. |

I think of like bright blue and tan.I think I think those things because the tan is the sandy color of the Outback, and for some reason i think of good weather ALL the times there, so I think of clear blue skys. |

aside from image of australian color, white australians are great, because they protected aborigine sacrificially from japs, attempting to extinguished them during wwâ…ˇ. white people in australia have always been very generous and merciful to the native people, whereas japs have been evil to people all over the world. those bastards should be wiped out as soon as possible! that's the universal desire. |

I think of the aussie colours of green and gold because they symbolise australia's natural green habitats and golden yellow because of our blazing hot sun. And of course, almost all our international sport teams wear either green or gold/yellow
btw I think I owe you a thank you! I was trying to find work experience somewhere in melbourne and I came across your answer to someone else's question. I got in to John Wardle as well :) I'm doing it in August though. Good luck. |
