you need a passport and a visa. The simplest, and least expensive is the ETA. It is computer generated, and your travel agent will get it for you. |

I think a passport is enough but you could always check with Australiand consulate in Japan or go to Immigration - here is the link below:

you will need to applyt for a visa. Go to the Australian embassy in Japan and they can issue the visa there. They are electronic so you will have nothing to show for it in your passport but you will need to enter the Australia.
Not sure how much they will charge in Japan but in the UK its about £15. |
