i have traveled to australia and you honestely don't see people dressed up like crocodile hunters like you see on tv. they wear average summer cloths. shorts t- shirts and tanktops.

OK... Look at the English and American fashion normal every day stuff and there you have it!!

we are not dressed up like Crocodile Dundee!!!

we have open toed shoes yes but we also have places we can't wear them like pubs and clubs and restaurants.

We are very sun conscious so we do tend too be a little care full but other then that its the same. Same as the Japanese don't run around in Kimono's all the time :)

Hope this helps!
Good luck

Australians wear the same sort of clothes as us, however they have a very casual summer style to cope with the heat. Open toed footwear is normally acceptable everywhere, and you will see many men wearing shorts. It is a good idea to have a hat to protect you from the sun!

we wear normal clothes.

its only people in the outback that usually wear stuff like acruba's - and thats just cause they are in the sun all day and need protection.

We are pretty much a casual wear country.

rawrrrr
i have never seen an actual australian wearing a crocodile dundee hat..ive seen a few tourists wearing them but thats it.

we mostly wear casual clothes, jeans, t shirts, shorts, skirts, dresses etc.

Well, I've gotta tell you that in the mornings, after I have a shower, I start with my underpants ( which is an always situation), then it depends on what the weather is like.
What do you you think we wear, bloody animal skins or something. We wear what is obviously similar to any other Western or Asia Pacific society allowing for the fact that our weather is much warmer that th U.K..
