Most foreigners really have no idea about Australia....... alot get a shock when they arrive.

Seems that you are an Aussie never visiting any other country????
Anyway, Australia has a great landscape, nature (animals, plants etc.), and great people. Neverever found nicer people in other foreign countries. The language is a point you first must get used to - LOL - but if you got it you soon try to talk like they do.
I SIMPLY LOVE THIS COUNTRY

People like the outback. It's something different to people who don't live there, a tourist attraction. People like to see the world and places they have never been. Why do they have vacation spots anywhere.

sm
the wildlife, the beaches and the people! I wonder the same thing about Canada.

Curiosity about the place,and it's people.my interest,
How did it manage to be as developed as it is in that corner of the globe?

I'd Like To Point Out We Are Not All Foreigners And Also When You Say It It Sounds Like An Insult. The Question Might As Well Be Why Does Anyone Visit Anywhere Outside Their Own Country? To Broaden Your Horizons Is as Good An Answer As Any And Australia Is The Most Beautiful Country In The World Bar None NUFF SAID.
