I am currently living in Australia but I have had friends overseas asking me whether I have kangaroos in my backyard. I told her I have kangaroos as pets and I ride them to school and guess what?! She totally believed me. I think lots of people think Australia is like out there in the wild~

I love Australia and your Kangaroo's. I was there in 2006 and it was Awesome. I loved the Gold Coast and Snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef. xox

Very tasty, apparently, judging from the number of restaurants that are now serving up kangaroo steaks, along with croc, buffalo and emu, particularly in tourist areas.
Being vegetarian I haven't actually tried them.

The first one my partner saw was hopping down the road in front of us- just travelling along like it was a car. So he found it pretty fascinating and amusing, since animals normally run across a road rather than travel on it.

Oh! And they *do* beat up men with handlebar moustaches, but contrary to popular belief, they do it bare-knuckled.

I have never been to Australia so I have never seen Kangaroos in person but I think it would be fun to see one because I love all kinds of animals.

i have always thought the critters from Australia were the most fascinating - i love them! they are so different from other places critters.

I love kangaroos. Not only do they carry their babies in a pouch....but their pretty fierce at defense. Wish I could be like that....except for the ears...I wouldn't want the ears.

Half the world thinks we ride them in their pouches and some even think they live in Austria.
Austrians can sell kangaroo merchandise because of all the tourists who actually think they live there.
