Australia is F'in KEWL!
I like the waves, the trees, the sand, the hotels/resorts, the women, the commitment to a relaxed lifestyle, the fact that people aren't always trying to keep up with the jones'. It's just paradise on earth for me. I'm sick of the western philosophy that more is better. I'd rather live mediocre in Aus. |

Getting to hear the accents of the locals and learn about the culture would be reason enough for me to make the trip. I'd love to hear the didj played by the descendants of it's inventors and perhaps get some instruction on circular breathing.
I would want to avoid contact with any poisonous wildlife.
My biggest dislike would be the anti-firearm legislation, but that isn't likely to have much affect on a tourist. |

Wow, are you kidding? Your country is beautful and so unique! Y'all have everything.. from beautful Sydney Harbor to Ayres Rock to the outback... And, Aussies are some of the friendliest people I've ever met. I want to go back some day, absolutely! |

I went to Australia for ten months in 2004. I loved it there! I'm from the US and have visited places all over the world and I've always placed Australia third, on my list of best places in the world. My list reads:
1: Canada
2: Spain
3: Australia
4: Brazil
5: Ireland
6: Japan
7: Hong Kong
8: Egypt
9: Greece
10: England
So as you can see you are in the company of many great countries and I would recommend Australia to anyone looking for a fun, easy vacation where they can just kick back, and take in all that this unique culture has to offer. |

Australia, the land down under.... Everyone knows its there and no one really cares... LOL
Beautiful place nice people, but I find your politics strange. Your country men will march against the Iraq war, yet they do not seem to march for the children in africa being maimed and tortured everyday... Strange... |

I have never been there yet (I live in the USA), but I heard that the people there are laid back. One person who as been there, told me that the people in the city are rude, but they said that about NYC & I thought NYC was ok. I think that guy was just a rich stuck-up wo has been over protected his whole life anyways! lol |

Australia is an interesting country. I like to visit the great barrier rift and Sydney. They say that Australian people are nicer. Do not have anything to compare since I have never been there before. |
