"panda, serf board"? (What's a sef board anyway? We only have surf boards here)

One word to describe Australia - AWESOME!

Cheers from New South Wales

In one word I would describe Australia as Un-frekin-believable!

.. oh and there are no Pandas in Australia, Koalas, yes.

aussieamerican
Drop bear (similar to a panda, and nearly as rare in Australia)

(We have the koala not the panda, that's from China.)
Spelling the name of our country correctly, would be a good start.
Australia.
In one word unique.

We have long golden beaches, deserts, mountains, the reef, the rain forest, friendly people, room to move, interesting animals and plants.

Like Jodie C said the iconic poem "My Country" by Dorothea McKellar describes our country well.
How could you not, as an Aussie, love that poem?

I dont understand why a panda would discribe Australia, but a surf board might come close.
My choice would be diverse ( a one word discription is hard)
or as Dorothea McKella said
I love a sunburned country
A land of sweeping plains
Of rugged mountain ranges
Of droughts and flooding rains
I love her far horizons
Ilove her jeweled sea
Her beauty and her terror
The wide brown land for me

Soppy I know but I have always liked that poem

I would describe it as a great holiday destination for those who love the beach...has great shopping opportunities...great people, everyone is very laid back and friendly...great parks...lots of adventure and entertainment..

I would not describe it as a desert...and kangaroo's do not hop down the streets like people think from other countries...
