I think it's amazing. I have loads of family over there and would love to live there except the flight from the UK kills - and the bugs and stuff really isn't a problem, I don't even see that many when I go. The weather is amazing and the beaches are so cool. Everyone Australian I've met has been way more friendly and decent that people here :) x |

I adore it here,
I've lived all my life, and I think it's been a wonderful place to grow up in
The lifestyle is really nice and cruisey, the people are friendly and there's always stuff to do
It's just a really laidback vibe
But again, depends where you go
I've grown up in the Southern Beach suburbs of Sydney
But I've been to other places, such as Cairns, and I get the same vibe from it
Really positive place :)
The heat can be a bit annoying, but other then that

The only problem now is the gangs of marauding lebanese roaming our street beating up anyone who doesn't have oily skin & acne. |

Naaah, it SOUNDS like a good idea but I heard that they all live near the coast, and 90% of Australians live in cities. Having said that, every single Aussie I have ever met has been a decent person.
Of the 10 most poisonous creatures in the world, the top 9 come from Australia. The tenth most poisonous is the Indian Cobra.
I do find their attitude to alien cultures and illegal immigration refreshing though. |
