I decided to edit my answer after it got 2 thumbs down. I can't imagine that my answer offended anyone. But if I did, it wasn't intended. Someone else's answer (about hearing different versions of the accent) had a thumbs down, but it wasn't an offensive answer either.

Anything ending in an er becomes an a and vice versa. ie; supa or bananer. Tend to shorten longer words or make up entirely new phrases for any one word. Smoke break becomes smoko, when an answer requires the response "really" as in so true, that becomes fair dinkum. Now add all this to a full on nasal whiny accent and bingo! I like it.

I think the Aussie accent on a woman is very attractive. I dont really know what it is but when a good looking lady from Aussie land opens her mouth its over for me and I have to talk to her.

My dad's from Australia, and I tend to pick up aussie words. My friends think it's funny and cool. I can't tell meself.

Hear the accent everyday so it's just normal to me.
