I am an AFL supporter and follow Port Power all the way. I supported Port in the local SANFL comp from when I was young (my mums influence) When they made it into the AFL I was at the official unveiling of the team guernsey. Port has a long history, with some amazing players over the years, that migrated to various AFL teams before Power came into being. Port Power cops a lot of flack down here (usually from Crows supporters) but they continue to battle on and have become a force to be reckoned with. Port Power for the 2007 Premiership!!

Geelong because I was born that way. It's a genetic masochistic disorder that invokes regular outbursts of tears coinciding with Spring. It's sort of like hayfever but there are no pills on the market (in fact later in September it is harder to find any 'pill' if you're wearing Blue and White :-)).

Hopefully this year there will be a cure developed.

Edit: (Ticks to all those supporters who go through the 'thick and thin' whatever their team - as a Cats supporter who was there in '63 you have to admire that!)

Of course no-one will ever convince a footy fan that their team is not the greatest ever so arguments about it are pointless. I am a Sydney supporter through thick and thin, win or lose. After Sydney I support whoever is playing Collingwood.

Parramatta Eels.
I am NOT a true supporter but do like to support them. The reason why I support them is way too long to explain. Suffice to say it involves my friend who has a severe disability who lives in Canberrs and I help him go up to Sdney and see them from time to time. A few things happened a few years ago and I was VERY impressed with the club and I like them ever since.

For the last FORTY YEARS, I have been a MANCHESTER CITY fan!

I've watched them, with DELIGHT, go UP, - and, with TEARS as they went DOWN.

But my FINEST day, was in 1974, - when a former United player, - none, OTHER than Scotland's own DENIS LAW, - THEN, playing CLUB football for CITY, - got on the end of a goalmouth scramble, with a deft, - very CHEEKY, - back-heel, which meant that CITY finished in the TOP HALF of the table, - whilst their over-confident, and, - NOW, - big-headed neighbours suffered the HEARTBREAK of RELEGATION.

I have NOTHING, whatsoever, against ANY player, - with the sole exception of that cheating Portugese, - CRISTIANO RONALDO!

In HIS case, - like that, of "SIR FERGUSON", - I can't stomach EITHER of them!

West Coast Eagles because I am a bit of a one eyed Sandgroper but I loved watching the Lions beat the Collingwood in the premiership.

But Why??

Wallabies of course.

I'm a NRL supporter and my team is the south sydney Rabbitohs - who have made it to the semis for the first time since 1989!!!!! I'm SO excited!!! I've always gone for them, i guess i like the battler and the underdog. What's not to love about the bunnies?

Generally I support Port Power partly because they copped a lot of flack for joining the AFL. I cant understand why as there are heaps of other teams.Go the Port Power for the flag.
