Size is really very subjective, even at 16! What is more important than looking in a mirror and worring 'does my bum look big in this dress?' is - are you ACTIVE? You can be 'overweight'; you can be 'underweight', depending on someone else's arbitrary measuring criteria. But if you are physically active - especially at your age - every day, walking or sports or a gym, or whatever activity you enjoy (and you MUST enjoy it, otherwise you won't keep it up!), then your size is not that important. Throw away your scales, eat healthy foods, get regular fun exercise, and stop worrying about your size. Believe me, (and I spent far too many years worrying about this myself before I figured it out), boys like girls who like themselves - attitude will get you a lot further in EVERY aspect of life than a pair of size zero jeans. |

If you are playing in the front row you should be beefy. Otherwise, what others have said. |

It doesn't matter what size you are - it's what's inside of you that counts !!!!...... and I am sure your personality is great. |

Like the people before me said, there is no good size. The best judge of correct size would be being able to get up and do cardio for an hour. If your asking for a number, consult with your doctor. They probably have a BMI chart that can tell you the range of weight you should have for your height and body type. That will define for you what is over weight and underweight, so you can get a better understanding of what you should be. If you are overweight - and are seeing a good doctor - they should have made you aware that you need to be more involved.
Alot of people will tell you you shouldnt worry about your weight, but you should. Building a healthy lifestyle now will help fight the obesity that is a real problem in developed nations. But of course - be careful. Someone will yell at me if i don't say it, but there is nothing unsexier then someone with a eating disorder and a bad body image.
Good luck to you! |

healthy size would be not too skinny or anorexic and not too overweight or obese
you have to have some fat on your body but not in excess or none at all
why are you so worried about your size at your age????
teenagers I dont know - you are a different breed altogether |
