Life is Australia is great, not sure where you are from but it is probably very similar to where you are. Im from Sydney and the weather is great (usually)! People are very friendly. Australia feels like its just one big community although its much bigger than some people think.

Getting a job may prove to be difficult due to the current global economic situation, unemployment rate is quite high although it depends on what you do, some occupations are more in demand than others.

If you get a chance to come out here, make sure you do, its a wonderful country.

For help with visa info etc try www.immi.gov.au its the Australian Government website.

Well, considering I am Australian.

It is hard to get a job, but that is like everywhere, we are in an economic downturn!

What is life like? The quality of life here is great. The lifestyle is excellent.

What state are you thinking of?

Perth in Western Australia is beautuful. It is our richest state and most affluent, but it is expensive and there is a rental crisis here at the moment. Also, Perth is the most isolated city in the world...could you handle that lol?

Sydney is great, awesome place to live!

I think you should try a coastal town on the East coast.
Google Coffs harbour, Byron Bay, Noosa....they are lovely, great places to live and raise kids.

At the moment no, it isn't easy to get a job. We are in recession and foreigners trying to take Aussie jobs is a big no no.

You need to clarify your question. Everyday life is different for everyone. A homeless person in the Sydney CBD is going to have a very different everyday life to someone working in a mine in Western Australia. Which part of Australia are you looking to move to ? How old are you ? What type of career do you have ? What type of accomodation will you be able to afford ?

We need more info if we are going to answer your question properly.

Hot, relaxed and laidback. I wouldn't know if it was difficult to get a job seeing as i still have mine but with the GFC i presume it might be a little more difficult at the moment..

i'm guessing you're from america or the UK?

it's basically teh same.

because of the economic downturn it may be a little difficult to get a job, but it shouldn't be too hard if you're qualified. have a look at job vacancies that you might be interested on teh internet.

It depends where you are I would think. The Heath Ledger's in the country can't flush the toilet when it's a drought. The Health Ledger's near the ocean get to surf :D
