I've been to Australia Zoo many times and every time I go it's bigger and better.
My family have always enjoyed our visits there.
It used to be a half day visit but now it takes at least a full day to see it all.
Have a look at their web site.

Yes, Australia is awesome, but I'm biased I live here.
I've travelled to many places around Australia and I love the diversity of our Great Southern Land.
In the main the people are friendly and the pace of life is more relaxed than many places around the world. The cities and tourist areas are busy (for Australia). The majority of people live in these areas. I don't anymore, I live in the country now.
Our food is fresh, safe, tasty and affordable.
All we need at the moment is some rain to break this terrible drought which is affecting much of the country.

I hope you get to visit us some day. I know you'll love it.
What is there not to love?

I've been about 5 times over 7 years and each time I find it better and better.

I don't know what that person who said it is good for kids but boring for adults is on about?! They might have found it boring, but I have been several times with my partner, our kids, and my nieces and nephews and we ALL LOVED IT! The quality of the enclosures are really, really good and they have a great open range area where you can get up close to wallabies and kangaroos.

There is so much to see, you really do need to devote a whole day to it if you want to do it well. They do shows throughout the day with the croccodiles and other animals, and they promote the idea and practices of conservation tirelessly.

The suprise for me was how much I enjoyed seeing the otters! We all agree that they are the most entertaining animals to see, and we always make sure we see them as soon as we go in, and again before we leave!

As for living in Australia, it is hands down the best place in the world to live. We would love to have you here! Happy travelling!

ps. why have you added me to your contacts? Not that I'm unhappy with it, to be honest I'm a little flattered, but mainly I'm just curious... I can't email you directly to ask you!

The best zoos in Australia are Taronga Park in Sydney, Melbourne Zoo, the Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo and Healesville near Melbourne. Adelaide Zoo is also very good.

The best parts of Australia are in the south and the best zoos are in Victoria--Melbourne Zoo, Healesville Sanctuary and Werribee Open Range.
