It's Golden Wattle

It's also Australia's floral emblem and is included in the Commonwealth Coat of Arms.

That would be the Golden Wattle. It is the national flower of Australia and is also the source of our national sporting colours - the green and gold.

I would think that you are talking about the wattle tree. It is the national floral symbol of Australia. It is a beautiful tree. I love the colours and boldness.
