go to the zoo, go out to burrendong dam (it's a bit of a drive), the gaol, shopping, take them to the pool, umm i think thats about all the things you can do in dubbo

Western Plains Zoo.
It's huge.
You can walk, cycle or drive around it.
The animals are not 'caged' but are in natural surrounds on large areas of property.
You can even stay overnight there in huts or camp etc.

i grew up in dubbo and theres not much apart from the zoo. the gaols pretty good though. the surrounding areas pretty cool though. i reccomend lake burrendong.

Id say Western Plains zoo and the old dubbo gaol, if your interested in aboriginal stuff im sure theres some stuff around there to do with aboriginal heritage.
