there's loads. it's pretty much been covered already. but i will emphasise the walks. it's so beautiful when you go into the bush. there's gorgeous waterfalls and valleys and rivers basically in every suburb if you get off the highway and out of town. glenbrook national park is gorgeous and thats at the bottom of the mountain so it's closer to sydney. wentworth falls and katoomba have some amazing walks, although katoomba's more touristy. mt. vic has some excellent canyoning places... enjoy! |

Bushwalks, Scenic World (amusement park), Echo Point (like darling harbor), Lookouts, Shopping. Just avoid walking around in deserted areas after 8 (but only if your in Springwood or Katoomba). Anywhere else is OK, just that there are sadly a lot of gangs, beat ups etc in the blue mountains. |

Featherdale Wildlife Park is nearby also. You can pet a koala bear, and they have kangaroos, dingoes, tasmanian devils, snakes, pretty much everything. |
