In 2 weeks some boys from australia are coming to live with my family (like a foreign exchange program). I was wondering what kind of music they like to listen to there! Please help me out! thank you!
That's so sweet of you ! But basically the kids here listen to the same things that kids in the US listen to....
I raised 3 children when I lived in the US, (I'm American) and now that I've moved to Oz, I'm raising 2 foster children who are teenagers.
One loves American country music, and the other loves rock.
And they both love to EAT !! lol !
Teenagers are teenagers... <grins>

Musical tastes are as varied in Australia as they are anywhere else. It is very likely that the boys will have ipods or MP3players or packets of CDs and will bring their own music with them. It is thoughtful but really not worth trying to anticipate people's taste. When they get to your place, ask them and if you don't have anything they like or they don't have their own music, the music shop is not too far.
I really don't think it will be a problem but it's a lovely thought.

Polkas. We love 'em. All the cool nightclubs play them, nonstop.
Youth culture is global. I am sure that whatever kids in your area listen to will be fine.

There is not really one popular style of music here. I spent some time in Germany, USA and Canada, and I found that it is all a similar style, popular music, top of the charts, that sort of thing

I would check out the ARIA charts (official Australian) to find out but be warned they are largely incorrect due to their insistence to ignore digital downloads. It also would depend on their ages.
I LOVE Nick Jonas
okay you can add them now it is fixed
