November to April have the best water temperature.

May to September have the best surf - most people wear wetsuits.

No doubt about this question the best month's to visit the beaches in Australia is from December to January, but if you are a bit adventurous then the months before & after these months are still ok as we have been know to have some really hot weather in these months. If you are going to Queensland then you can swim for more months as this state is 1 of the hottest ones.Alot of people swim all year round & you guessed it in winter;rain, hail, sleet, & below 0 temperatures. So it all comes down to how game you are as you can swim in the beaches all year round, but do be warned in the peak months it can be severly over crowed with people,so if that's not your thing then look into more seclusive beaches as we have many.

Hi,July is a good month because there will be no crowds and if you board ride the surf will be up and less crowed Hope this helps Waltz

i went on holiday to sydney in february and it was warm and the beaches are REALLY nice! if ur gonna visit sydney u should definitly to go to palm beach or manly. so yea i would say around the january/february time

Blue T
Depends what you want. If you want to check out girls, go in December and January when the weather is really hot and the girls are too. Australians take their annual holidays then. All of Australia is pretty loose, but Sydney, with money, is the easiest of all.
