NSW Photo Card cards, issued by the RTA, have been made available in response to requests from people who are unable to obtain a driver licence and find it difficult to show who they are in order to access everyday services. Photo Cards cost $40 and will be valid for five years. For more information call your local RTA or see www.rta.nsw.gov.au/licensing/photocard.h...

In Queensland we have what's known as the 18+ card.
It's a photo ID obtainable at Queensalnd Transport.
I'm sure you will have something similar where you are.

Card 18+
A Card 18+ (also known as an 18+ Card or a proof of age card) is available as evidence that you are legally able to enter licensed premises.

The Card 18+ is an alternative if you don't have a passport or a driver licence demonstrating proof of age. It is also commonly used by people with a licence who, for security reasons, do not want other private information displayed as the Card 18+ does not include your address.

go to the main roads department and apply for an 18+ card. when i got mine it was around $18, but that was a few years ago now.

Proof of Age card. Still thru the RTA but it counts as ID and for points when you need to make up points for stuff such as Centrelink

Hi,
Go to your local RTA and you can purchase a proof of age card, it cost about $35.

And it will be much safer than taking your passport.

Good Luck with this.

Minny :-)

Depends on your age, you could get a student card which shows your photo to prove your age and your face or you could just get a photo taken of yourself, go to a jp with two copies of the same picture, show all id you have or take it to someone who knows you and they have to sign on the back of the photo "that this is a true likeness of (your name) and then sign it, but they must be a citizen, hope this helps your, goodluck! :)

if you joined an asl club or a leagues club, they would generally get you a card with your photo id on it. getting ur license would be easiest, its not that hard to get a Learners permit, just a small fee ($40-50) and pas a computer test.
